5th Meeting
What we did:
-We decided on a logo from Hye Jung's designs.
-We looked at Jennifer and Lizzie's prototypes. (Looking REALLY good by the way!)
-Arranged date to film video for final presentation.
Hye Jung is to finalise the logo for Thursday.
Jennifer is going to finish her bag for Thursday?
Lizzie is going to finish the form and maybe make another prototype.
Steven is going to mock up the website.
Chris and Steven are going to begin making the bin and finalise the design.
The clothes bin is to be made from an old set of drawers and have a hole on the top to post the clothes in. (Maybe some laser cutting somewhere?)
The website will be very minimalistic and say what we do, have a link to the form, a link to our video and our company values.
Project is beginning to look really good. Remember to get that essay done for next week guys. :O

4th Meeting
What we did:
-Discussed how we would make the bags
-Thought of what type of clothes we would use
-Decided we would reuse old clothes
-Decided it would be better to make old clothes into rucsacs or handbags.
From discussing how we would source clothes to make the bags from we decided to make clothes bins for people to deposit their clothes in. We then thought of different designs for the bags and thought it would be really fun to actually make a clothes bin and put it in the university somewhere. This way we could ask students to design how they would want their clothes to be turned into bags and we could use their designs as research.
Once we had decided upon our final idea we thought of a company name: "Rags 2 Bags"
Hye Jung was assigned the task of designing logo.
Jennifer, Katrina and Lizzie are making prototype bags out of clothes.
Christopher and Steven are designing the bin and making the blog/website.
Lizzie is also making the design forms for putting in the clothes bin.
Good progress this week and another meeting on 06/10/09.
